Woman dies after being hit by boat propeller on the Costa Blanca
The victim was struck after from a donut float near La Caleta in Jávea

The Guardia Civil is investigating the death of a 36-year-old woman who was struck by the propeller of a boat around 400 metres off the coast of Jávea, in the La Caleta area, on Sunday evening.
The incident was reported at around 6.45pm and the woman was rushed back to the port, where paramedics confirmed she'd died from her injuries.
Early investigations suggest the woman, a resident of Dénia, had been out on a rented boat with a group of friends and was taking part in a towing activity using a donut-shaped inflatable. The inflatable is believed to have capsized, throwing several people into the water, and during the rescue effort the boat struck the woman, leaving her with extremely serious injuries.
She was still alive when she reached the port of Jávea, where she was treated first by the Red Cross and then by a SAMU emergency medical team. Despite their efforts to resuscitate her, paramedics sadly weren't able to save her life.
