Appeal launched for Englishman missing in Ibiza
The Cumbria native failed to return home after a four-day holiday in Spain
A frantic appeal has been launched by friends of Carlisle man Glen Yeomans after he failed to board a flight home from Ibiza last week and hasn’t been heard from since. The Cumbria native, who has visited the Spanish resort on several occasions, was originally supposed to go on holiday with a friend.
However, when the pal had to cancel his trip, Glen decided to take the four-day trip alone. But he missed his flight to England on Tuesday September 19 and hasn’t been in touch with any friends or relatives.
Those close to Glen claim it’s very unlike him not to reply to messages and his friend James has now launched a social media appeal to track down the missing man, who is believed to still be on the island.
“He hasn’t been in a good way lately and he put a concerning and worrying status on FB the other day and I’ve had no contact with him since Monday morning. His flight back was Tuesday but I believe he missed his flight and is still on the island as he hasn’t made it back home to Carlisle,” James wrote.
“It’s unlike him not to reply or get in touch so just wanna put it out there if anyone has seen him on the Island the last few days or over the weekend??? His name is Glen Yeomans and is from Carlisle in Cumbria and was staying in San Antonio area. I know he went Ibiza Rocks on Sunday and DC10 on Monday and I’ve had no contact since!!!” he added.
The concerned pal also urged Glen to get in touch if he sees the post himself, explaining that his friends and family are “worried sick” by his absence.
