ARCHIVED - Vueling and Deutsche Bahn offer flight and train deal to passengers from Spain
Travellers from Spain’s Barcelona will have access to a range of rail connections all over Germany
Vueling airline and Deutsche Bahn have reached an agreement to offer passengers flying from Barcelona to Berlin or Dusseldorf in Germany an optional train trip to various German cities.
Vueling's Director of Distribution and Alliances, Jesús Monzó, explained that this is the first agreement of its kind and opens the door to an "increasingly strong" trend in the industry, pushing rail travel as a sustainable means of mobility.

Passengers landing in Germany off flights from Spain will soon be able to avail themselves of a train ticket to destinations like Hannover, Cologne, Dresden and Wolfsburg through the Vueling Global platform as part of a package deal.
Deutsche Bahn AG is Europe’s largest rail operator, transporting around 4.8 billion passengers in 2019.
