ARCHIVED - Beautiful barn owl captured on camera
Avid bird watchers can enjoy more of these images via free livestreams on the internet
A stunning picture of a barn owl staring straight at the camera has been shared on social media this week. The image was captured by one of SEO/Birdlife’s livestreams, which are completely free and open to the public.
SEO/Birdlife are a non-profit organisation founded in 1954 to conserve biodiversity in Spain and the organisation offers a series of live webcams which broadcast images of emblematic bird species across the country, including the black vulture, the peregrine falcon or the white stork.
The livestreams of each species being shown vary throughout the year, depending on each bird’s breeding period. This gives viewers the unique chance to see new baby birds hatch from their eggs live!
