Brawling UK passengers roll around cabin floor on flight to Spain
The crew aboard the flight from Bristol to Tenerife requested a police escort upon landing
Spanish police were called to assist a Ryanair flight from the UK when it touched down in Tenerife after a vicious brawl broke out among male and female passengers.
While the plane was still mid-air on Monday November 27, a shouting match erupted which saw the Britons rolling around the cabin floor. Footage shows how a well-aimed punch connected with one woman’s face and her nose began to gush blood as all hell broke loose among the other frightened travellers.
The injured passenger demanded Ryanair cabin crew examine her nose while she blamed a nearby couple for the spat.
A woman off-camera is heard saying: “I didn’t do that.”
But the bleeding woman roars back: “He did. Because you called him a fat c**t.”
As usually happens in these cases, the flight attendants called the authorities from the air and requested a police presence once the plane touched down on Spanish soil.
A spokesperson for Ryanair said: “The crew on this flight from Bristol to Tenerife called ahead for police assistance when a passenger became disruptive in flight.
“The aircraft was met by local police upon arrival at Tenerife Airport and this individual passenger was removed. This now a matter for local police.”
Back in October, a British man become so drunk on a flight to Ibiza that the plane had to be diverted to Bordeaux in France so the disorderly passenger could be removed.
Three officers had to carry the legless man into the airport. The police could barely suppress their smiles as passengers clapped and cheered, with one laughing: “He doesn’t even know where he is.”
Earlier this year, 33-year-old Manchester man Darren Gill wasn’t even allowed off the tarmac because he got so drunk when his flight to Ibiza was delayed by 7 hours. The aircraft doors hadn’t even closed before the Brit began heckling cabin crew and he was quickly hauled off and fined.
