ARCHIVED - British man found dead a week after disappearing from his Javea home
The 87-year-old was last seen at his home in the Marina Alta town on Sunday February 13

The body of a British pensioner has been found near a reservoir in the Valencia town of Benigànim just over a week after he disappeared from his home in Javea.
87-year-old Christopher Webb's corpse was discovered 200 metres from his parked car at Bellús reservoir following a large-scale land and air search involving the Guardia Civil and Local Police.
For the moment, little is known about the circumstances surrounding the Briton's disappearance or death, only that the alarm was raised on Sunday February 13, the last time the deceased was seen alive.
Having established that Mr Webb had left his home in his grey Mazda station wagon, the helicopter search was extended and intensified. And thanks to public cooperation, the tragic discovery was made on Sunday evening.
In a post on social media, Javea Town Hall confirmed the missing elderly man had been found, and expressed "condolences to the relatives and thanks to all the people who collaborated in the search".
