ARCHIVED - Magnitude 2.1 earthquake in Cartagena
The earthquake occurred this Tuesday in the Cabo Tiñoso area off the Cartagena coast
An earthquake measuring 2.1 on the Richter scale, with its epicentre on the coast of Cartagena, was felt by residents of Murcia’s second city shortly at 1.15pm today, Tuesday October 11.
According to the National Geographic Institute (IGN), the seismic movement occurred to the south of the town, in the area of water around Cabo Tiñoso on the surface at a depth of 0 kilometres.
So far, no damage to property or life has been reported.
