March madness and April showers: Murcia weekly weather forecast March 31-April 3
It will be a nice sunny and warm end to March, followed by rain to welcome in April
We have gorgeous sunshine and toasty temperatures in Murcia to see off this wet month of March, before more showers and cooler temperatures are forecast by the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) for Wednesday April 2 and Thursday 3.
This Monday March 31 is forecast to be one of those classic Murcia days where we have spotless sunshine and only a light breeze all day long, while temperatures reach up to highs of 26ºC! Night-time temperatures will average around 7-10ºC, and they will stay at this level all week long.

Tuesday April 1 will be similar, with only a very slight dip in maximum temperatures and a little more cloud cover in the sky. Cartagena and the surrounding area can expect some fog to roll in during the afternoon, and Aemet “does not rule out occasional showers towards the end of the day”.

It is on Wednesday morning when the “light rain” is expected to roll in, accompanied by a dip in daytime temperatures by 3-4ºC. The rain will cover the whole Region for almost the entire day, only letting up come nightfall.

On Thursday, too, there will be more showers during the day before it brightens up towards the afternoon, when there are also strong winds of 30-35kmh forecast along the coast, and especially in the Mar Menor area.

Aemet is currently forecasting more rain on Friday before it becomes drier and a little warmer as we go into the weekend, but this forecast is subject to changes as we get closer to the time.
