You can still shop in Lorca this weekend, even though it’s a long weekend
Many of the large chain stores are staying open at the Parque Almenara shopping centre in Lorca this Saturday June 7, Sunday 8 and Monday 9 even though it is a long, three-day weekend because of the Region of Murcia Day festivo on Monday.Among the popular brand names that will stay open at Parque Almenara mall this weekend are Primark, Leroy Merlin, MediaMarkt, Sprinter, Carrefour and more.
Parque Almenara is a well-known commercial centre serving southwestern Murcia, and a favourite haunt for weekends throughout the year.
The shopping centre has its own cinema showing English-language films once a week and a food court with many options for eating and drinking.

Parque Almenara is located on the Lorca–Águilas road C-3211 at km 1.9. On a GPS, the coordinates to put in are: N 37º 63´ W -1º 69´
If you’re going by bus, there is a direct bus route that leaves from Apolonia.
