Scorching temperatures continue all week: Murcia weather forecast June 22-25
The Region of Murcia looks set for another run of sweltering days and tropical nights

Average temperatures expected on Tuesday June 23
The Region of Murcia is facing another spell of intense summer weather, with temperatures expected to stay close to 40°C in some inland areas throughout the week. Although the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) is predicting a gradual easing of the heat across parts of Spain from mid-week, Murcia is unlikely to notice much difference, with sunshine and very high temperatures continuing to dominate the forecast.
Over the next few days we can expect long, dry days, plenty of sunshine and warm nights that offer little chance to cool down. Inland areas will see the highest temperatures, but even coastal locations will remain unusually warm for late June.
Monday June 22

The week begins under blazing sunshine across the Region of Murcia, with temperatures climbing into the high 30s inland. Murcia city is expected to reach around 37°C, while coastal areas such as Cartagena should remain a few degrees cooler thanks to sea breezes. Even so, it will feel extremely hot throughout the afternoon and residents are being advised to avoid prolonged periods in direct sunlight.
Overnight temperatures will struggle to fall below 20°C in many areas.
Tuesday June 23

Tuesday looks set to be the hottest day of the week. Inland parts of the Region could see temperatures reaching 38°C or locally higher, especially in the Segura Valley. Skies will remain largely clear with very little cloud cover and another uncomfortable night is expected, particularly in urban areas where temperatures may stay above 20°C until well after midnight.
Wednesday June 24

Although temperatures may ease slightly compared with Tuesday, the change is unlikely to be noticeable for most people. Highs of around 37°C are still expected across much of the Region, with sunshine dominating throughout the day. Humidity levels may make conditions feel particularly uncomfortable near the coast during the evening.
Thursday June 25

Many parts of Spain should start to see a more general drop in temperatures on Thursday, but Murcia is expected to remain firmly in heatwave territory. Forecasts suggest highs of around 37°C inland, with coastal areas remaining in the low 30s. Conditions will stay dry and sunny, although temperatures should no longer be climbing and the worst of the heatwave is expected to be behind us.
