The manufacturer has warned the public about the possible presence of plastic fragments in certain Milka chocolate bars
The Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (AESAN) has informed, through the Coordinated Rapid Information Exchange System (SCIRI), of an alert notification sent by the health authorities of the autonomous community of Madrid, regarding the possible presence of plastic fragments in Milka chocolate bars.
This information has come as a result of self-monitoring by the company itself, which reported the incident to the competent authorities in compliance with the legislation and in order not to make unsafe food available to the public.
Specifically, the affected product is a Milka Oreo bar of 37 grams, with batch number OSK0934422, barcode 7622210718693 and expiry date 01/08/2024.
According to the information available, this chocolate bar has been distributed nationwide. Shops stocking the product should withdraw it and anyone who has bought one should not eat it.
