ARCHIVED - Torrevieja police appeal for help tracing man wanted for attempted murder
A 58-year-old woman was attacked by a knife-wielding man in the Vega Baja town in Alicante province two years ago

Police in Torrevieja have released CCTV images of a man they want to locate in connection with an attempted murder in the town two years ago.
The suspect allegedly attacked a 58-year-old woman with a knife in the doorway of a property in Calle San Pascual shortly before 7pm on July 16, 2020. The extent of her injuries have not been released.
Security cameras captured the alleged perpetrator fleeing seconds after the terrifying attack in daylight, and two images shared by the Guardia Civil and National Police clearly show a man who is bald/has a receding hairline and wearing a stripey t-shirt, cut off jeans, white trainers and sunglasses making a run for it.
Anyone who can provide any information that might help investigators trace the suspect is asked to call +34 609 777 867. Anonymity and confidentiality is guaranteed.
