All health measures and restrictions currently in place in the province of Alicante will be followed
The Torrevieja funfair, located in the port in front of Paseo de La Libertad, and the La Mata funfair, in the Plaza de Encarnación Puchol, also in Torrevieja, will reopen to the public from Thursday (April 1) after being closed since March 2020 when the state of alarm came into effect.
The fairs will be open from April 1 until April 18 with a closing time of 9.30 pm, in accordance with the 10 pm curfew in the region of Valencia.
These two fairs are an important part of the leisure offering in the province of Alicante for those enjoying an easter break and, now that they have been allowed to reopen, the establishments will be following all Covid health and safety guidelines, including installing foot-activated hydroalcoholic gel dispensers which will be stationed at all entrances to the fairs.
In addition, face masks will be mandatory at all times regardless of whether social distancing is in place and the rides will be disinfected after each use.
