WATCH: terrifying moment Brit tourist scales Ibiza hotel
The foolhardy UK tourist risked plunging to his death at the Spanish resort
Holidaymakers at the famous Ibiza Rocks Hotel watched on in horror as an idiotic British tourist, who has remained unnamed, climbed almost to the top of the building and scuttled along the narrow ledge several metres above the ground. If the young man had fallen, he almost certainly would have died.
The heart-stopping moment on July 1 was witnessed in full by 19-year-old dental nurse Charlie Brooke Walsh, who filmed the foolhardy Brit as she pleaded with him to climb down.

“I want to raise awareness about people who fall off balconies on holiday after taking substances or drinking,” Charlie said.
“I witnessed someone on top of a ledge at a hotel, thinking he had no hope of getting across, but luckily he did.
“Something needs to be put in place as it happens to too many young people losing their lives over silly decisions with not enough safety measures in place,” she added.
It’s unclear why the young man decided to scale the ledge, which overlooked a paved courtyard far below, but he was thankfully pulled to safety by security guards after around 15 minutes. In fact, Charlie spotted the daredevil enjoying himself at the ocean beach club the following day “like nothing happened.”
Sadly, so many tourists aren’t as lucky as this Briton. Earlier this week a 35-year-old UK holidaymaker fell to his death from the second floor in the popular San Antonio district shortly after 3am.
And at the end of June, 22-year-old John McKenna from Cumbria died on June 23 when he tumbled from a balcony while holidaying in the same Ibiza resort.
“If he had fallen it would've caused mental health issues for other people... people don’t understand how much their actions can affect someone else,” Charlie added.
