ARCHIVED - Local artist creates motivational mural at Benidorm beach
The 20-metre mural adorns Benidorm's Levante beach promenade in the Marina Baixa, Alicante province.
Benidorm artist, designer and architect, Tito Pérez Mora, has painted a 20-metre motivational mural on a wall at Levante beach promenade - one of the resort's busiest and most popular areas.
The mural - painted with the right-handed artist's left hand - cleverly gives the impression someone has dived into the sand, and scrawled next to the single leg and heel of a foot are the words 'el nadador que se quedo sin nada pero sigujo nadando', - the swimmer who was left with nothing but kept on swimming.
'The Swimmer' will be officially unveiled at 7.30pm on Friday, July 30, following by the launch of the artist's book '366/2020', a compilation of 366 drawings - one sketched every day last year - at El Torrejo Municipal Building.
While everyone can enjoy Tito's mural, the book launch is limited to 35 invited people due to capacity restrictions.
