October 31 Halloween celebrations in Orihuela Costa
Parades, spooky escape rooms, costume contests and more in Orihuela city and coast this Halloween
The Orihuela Youth Council has announced a fun-filled programme of activities to celebrate Halloween this Thursday October 31. The festivities will take place in both Orihuela city and along the coast, offering something for everyone.
Orihuela City
The Gabriel Miró Roundabout will be the hub of the action, featuring craft, slime and face painting workshops, as well as inflatable attractions. The evening will kick off at 8pm with a parade through the streets of Orihuela, featuring drum bands, dance groups and plenty of spooky costumes.
In addition, a special Halloween train will depart from Duque de Tamamés - Gabriel Miró Avenue at 5pm and travel through the streets of the city, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Orihuela Costa
Meanwhile, in Orihuela Costa, a separate programme of activities has been planned for Calle Escorpión and Calle Libra.
The fun will begin at 6pm with workshops on crafts, slime and face painting, culminating in a Halloween parade at 8pm. The procession will make its way along Calle Escorpión, starting at Calle Capricornio and ending at Calle Aries in La Florida.
Zenia Boulevard shopping centre
And if you're looking for even more Halloween fun, head to Zenia Boulevard Shopping Centre, which has been transformed into a hub of terror. On October 31, a costume contest will take place at 6pm, where participants can show off their most creative and terrifying outfits.
From October 31 to November 3, customers can take part in 'Escape City Box', a thrilling game that will be played on the streets of Zenia Boulevard from 5pm to 8pm each evening.
And finally, on Saturday November 2, don't miss a Meet & Greet with Zumbo and Peludo at 6pm.
Other activities
Back in Orihuela city, the council has organised a terrifying Halloween-themed Escape Room on October 30. The event will be held at the Museum of Sacred Art from 4pm to midnight. This immersive entertainment experience challenges participants to solve a series of riddles and puzzles within a limited time, all set in a spooky atmosphere.
