ARCHIVED - Orihuela lifeguards receive first doses of Covid vaccine
35 young lifeguards from Orihuela, in Alicante province, received their first Pfizer jab this week
Lifeguards employed by the company Ambumar SyA have received their first dose of the Pfizer Covid vaccine on Wednesday (July 28) at the vaccine centre in El Escorratel, Orihuela.
The Health authorities in Orihuela determined that the 35 lifeguards carried out “health work” and were in contact with a lot of people on a daily basis and, therefore, were a collective which needed to be vaccinated as soon as possible.
The 35 youngsters are scheduled to receive their second jab on August 18.
