The official bulletin posted by the regional government on April 14 reports 160 new Covid cases in the region, of which 47 are in Alicante, while the number of active cases in the region remains roughly the same: 3,494.
In Alicante the number of Covid-related deaths reported on Wednesday was 4, bringing the total figure since the start of the pandemic up to 2,751.
The number of people hospitalized for coronavirus in the Comunidad Valenciana has dropped to 353, of whom 73 are in intensive care. The number of Covid patients in hospital in the province of Alicante is 161, with 27 in the ICU.
