ARCHIVED - 18 hours of non-stop music at an illegal party in Casabermeja
The party at a private finca in the Andalucía town was finally shut down at 9 o’clock in the morning
"Ticket at the door (20 euros). Buy wristbands at the bar. Ask for Maykel".
This was the sign at the door of a finca in the rural area of Los Portales, in Casabermeja for those attending an illegal party this weekend. Police were called out to the remote villa after it was reported that a party had been taking place all night in the Málaga town with over 50 people in attendance, without the requisite permits.
From 3pm to 9am, blaring music could be heard across the valley in Los Portales, infuriating neighbours who were trying to sleep. After about 18 hours of non-stop music, the Policía Local and Guardia Civil in Casabermeja learned about the event on social media, and were dispatched to put an end to it.
The officers charged the organiser of the party with an committing an offence for lacking all the necessary permits to hold an event of this size and nature.
